Have you ever had ice cream made from a 1949 John Deere engine?

Maybe we should back up. Have you ever even heard of ice cream made from a 1949 John Deere engine?

Stop by Trudy’s Poppin’ Johhny Ice Cream at 2501 Washington Boulevard and see it happen yourself.

Owner, Trudy Soland, has sold her old-fashioned ice cream at the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo and at the Weber County Fair. In July, she moved into a permanent location at the Ogden Welcome Center.

Don’t wait until the summer to go check things out. Trudy’s Poppin’ Johnny Ice Cream also sells hot beverages, doughnuts, soups, sandwiches, and salads. Soland distributes bus schedules and plans to sell UTA bus tickets, Ogden Amphitheatre tickets, Egyptian Theatre tickets, and even rent bicycles.

Downtown Ogden is lucky to have Trudy as one of its newest business owners. She is one nice lady, as seen in this news clip from 2News This Morning.
